By Lisa Nadile

FuzeBox, Inc. announced videoconferencing products that take to the cloud. Fuze Meeting, an iPad app available from Apple’s App Store, turns the device into one capable of starting and hosting telepresence-compatible meetings. The company’s Fuze Hosted Telepresence Connect technology now available as a cloud-based hosted solution for mobile and desktop devices. It allows Fuze sessions to connect to Polycom, Tandberg, LifeSize, Teliris and other telepresence systems without installing any on-site equipment.

FuzeMeeting allows secure multi-party videoconferencing and collaboration with telepresence systems. It will also record meetings and offers gesture-based touchscreen annotation of shared documents. For a monthly subscription, users can have unlimited meeting, toll-free numbers and certain levels of storage and participants.

According to the company, FuzeMeeting has 2.5 million registered users worldwide and over 70,000 online meetings per day.

The new cloud-based Fuze Hosted Telepresence Connect allows multi-party, HD video conferencing on any network, from any location or device, the company states.
