Savant Systems LLC announces the release of the TrueControl for Mac app. The TrueControl app enables users to access the Savant SmartSystems—the Apple based residential and commercial control and automation system from Savant—from their desktop Mac OS X device.
With the TrueControl app, users can control lighting, temperature, music, movies, security, plus other control features on the Savant SmartSystems from a variety of Mac devices. Mac devices that support the app include: MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and the iMac. The TrueControl app converts Mac devices into interfaces capable of managing the Savant system through a local area connection and from remote locations. Because Savant SmartSystems use an Apple OS X processor, supported Mac devices can be designated as the main control interface or as an added interface in the Savant system.
The TrueControl app is configured with RacePoint Blueprint and is available for download from the Mac App Store for $99.
